I have tried to make this page easy to read for the purpose of finding your is the lowdown :) I am a very kind and patient person, but given the nature of the internet, I need to lay some ground rules. Thank you for your understanding :)

First the FAQ, then the rules :)

Q: When did you started dolling ?
A: In the summer of 2001 or something *scratches head*

Q: Which programs do you use ?
A: Paint Shop Pro 8 99% of the time, but also have Photoshop 7 for some things, Dreamweaver for HTML and I sometimes draw with a Wacom instead of my faithful cordless and ball-lles *lol* mouse.

Q: Can you draw me a doll ?
A: Most times no, I am really to busy, maybe if I've time, if you are very polite with me, if your request inspire me and if you are very patient... well... why not ? :) But no guarantee!!

Q: I sent you a gift and I don't see it on your website. Were it is ???
A: First, Thank you very much, I love receiving gifts and awards. If I didn't put it on my site, it's probably because...
- I have to many to choose from
- I didn't have time to put it ( I a very very busy girl )
- I didn't receive it
- It was a frankendoll

Q: I send you a mail some time ago, you didn't answer me...
A: Sorry. I receive many mail each week, I've not always time to answer each. But I read every one with a lot of pleasure :)
If your mail really need an answer, please, re-send it to me.

Q: Can you make me a website?
A: Sorry, I really have no time, if you want go check out my MoonGraphics site, as that one offers free templates for websites :)

Q: Can you add my link on your link page ?
A: Why not ? But please, be POLITE with me. If you send me just your URL and banner, I won't link you.

Q: How do I adopt a doll from your site?
A: Well, that is very simple. First, save the doll you want to adopt to you own harddrive and then to your own server/webspace. Never ever direct link the dolls back to here, that takes my bandwidth which I pay for and the site will go down! If you put the doll on your website, always provide a lick back to here,, either with a button or a textlink. And never ever claim them as your own!
The dollz that are labeled 'not for adoption' are not for adoption *gheez*, so do not take those or I will hunt you down *twitching with eye* These rules also apply for any doll or blinkie you make on one of the makers...

Q: Do you want to be my sister site ?
A: I think I won't take new sisters for the moment, but you can ask me if you want to. If I don't answer you, it's because I refused it, sorry...must have a bad day then ;).

All images, content and design within MoonPixel Dollz are owned by me. *yes yes I am greedy hehe*

Bandwidth theft or "hotlinking" is direct linking to a website's files (images, video, etc.). An example would be using an <IMG> tag to display a JPEG image you found on someone else's web page so it will appear on your own site, journal, weblog, forum posting, etc.
Bandwidth refers to the amount of data transferred from a website to a user's computer. When you view a webpage, you are using that site's data transfer to display the files. Since web hosts charge based on the amount of data transferred, bandwidth is an issue. If a site is over it's monthly bandwidth, it's billed for the extra data or taken offline.

A simple analogy for bandwidth theft: Imagine a random stranger plugging into your electrical outlets, using your electricity without your consent, and you paying for it.

> This website is not an image hosting service for message boards.
> This website is not an image hosting service for online auctions or journals.

Think about how you display an image graphic in HTML on your web page:
<IMG src="image.jpg" height="350" width="200">

This tag tells the site to request the image.jpg file from the same server as the rest of the site. But if you were to hotlink an image from an outside server it might look like this:
<IMG src="" height="350" width="200">

Every time the page is loaded, the outside server has to use it's bandwidth to display the image. To avoid this problem, don't link to files on servers that don't belong to you. To share images and files on your own web page, upload them to your own server or to one of the many free website providers.
I can and will find direct linker trough my site statics, and when I do, I give you 72 hours to remove all the direct links. If you do not comply I am in my rights:
Displaying an image or file that doesn't belong to you is a violation of copyright, making you open to litigation. As I am the owner of the copyright, I could utilize DMCA law to have your site shut down and your information given for use in legal proceedings.

*information from Altlab*

My hand drawn dolls all have my copyright sign on them, do not remove this! Bases have also a copyright but this can be removed when using it as a basebody for making your own doll. If you adopt (put them on your site) one of my dolls, or make a doll with one of the provided dollmakers or bases, and put those on your site, please be kind enhough to link me back so that others can find this site to adopt dolls too.
